Why this is important?
All companies need accurate supplier information.
You may never have to have an employee go to a vendor unless there’s an emergency but if there is an emergency having a correct address on file will save you a major headache.
You might also need to send documents to your suppliers.
Organization’s need correct contact details of employees.
To send documents
To deliver goods
And you never know, an employee could be traveling and an accident occurs and the business may need to help the employee return home safe.
Organization’s need Customer addresses.
To send marketing materials
To send invoices and other documents
The app is free but you’ll need a valid subscription of the 365 business API.
The 365 business API is connected to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central through the 365 business API dependency app.
Downloaded the app from AppSource
Configure 365 business API Setup page
API URL is pre-populated.
This is where you’ll have to enter your authentication key.
Make sure address validation is selected and then choose which addresses you want to be validated.
To Test I created a new customer
Entered in a misspelled street address
Had to click show on map for it to run the address validation.
