Business Central Storage Changes

Currently Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central online has a 80 GB database storage limit and a 40 GB file storage limit. For the majority of organizations this is more than enough but if your organization just happened to need more you had to purchase it and it was expensive. The good news is that beginning July 1, 2021 new Business Central storage changes will take effect and they are extremely beneficial to customers.

More Storage Per User in Business Central

As of July 1, 2021 Microsoft will make the 80 GB database storage limit available to all customers and will also give you 2 GB extra per Business Central Essentials user and 3 GB per Business Central Premium user for no extra charge.

Price Drop for Additional Storage in Business Central

As of July 1, 2021 the price will drop per GB from $40 to $10. Also, bulk pricing will be offered. An additional 100 GB will be $500 ($5 per GB). At the current prices this would be $4,000 so it's a tremendous savings!
