What to do if your Business Central icon is missing on the Dynamics 365 Home Page

Over the past month or so Dynamics 365 Business Central users may have run into the issue where their Business Central icon was missing from the Dynamics 365 home page. If this happened to you hopefully you didn’t panic too much by thinking you can’t access your Business Central tenant, but if you did have a panic attack I’m going to show you what you can do in the future to either bring back the icon or access your Business Central tenant.
Sync your Dynamics 365 Home Page
From time-to-time you may notice that your Business Central icon is missing from your Dynamics 365 Home Page. Most of the time this is due to an issue associated with Microsoft and there’s really not much you can do. However, sometimes a simple syncing of the Dynamics 365 Home Page will bring back your Business Central icon. To sync your Dynamics 365 Home Page click the sync icon located in the upper right portion of the home page.
If this fails to bring back your icon don't panic, you can still access Business Central even without the icon.
What is the Dynamics 365 Home Page? The Dynamics 365 home page can be found at home.dynamics.com and lists all of your Dynamics 365 apps for quick easy access.
How to access Business Central without the Dynamics 365 Home Page icon
If your icon is missing there is still a way to access your Business Central environment and who knows, you may even prefer this way over the more traditional way. All you have to do is type into your web browser businesscentral.dynamics.com and sign in. That’s it.
