To begin the pipeline management process an owner may be interested in seeing what opportunities are currently in progress and have the potential to close this quarter. So let's go ahead and sort on the status column and apply the filter "In Progress".
Now after a quick review of the sales opportunity it is determined that there's a new opportunity that needs to be entered and tracked. To do this we start by clicking the New Button.
Enter in your description and select your contact name and then activate the stage to begin.
Once you activate the stage you need to update the status of the new opportunity. To do this we need to go back to our Opportunity Card and drill down on the opportunity we just created.
Here we can select update and enter the details and click ok.
Ok, now we are ready to move forward and assign this to a sales quote. From the ribbon choose Assign Sales Quote and go ahead and enter in your line item(s).
We can now send this by clicking Send by Email from the ribbon. Just make sure to verify all of your information is correct and then click OK.
